Souvent méconnu, le mécanisme législatif rend perplexe les citoyens qui ne comprennent pas toujours comment ils peuvent influer ou faire avancer les lois qui encadrent leur vie. Quels sont réellement les pouvoirs de ceux qui gouvernent et comment les élus désigner par les Français portent-t-ils leurs choix et leurs voix ?
Trace the path of a law in France, from the idea and intention to its implementation and promulgation in the Journal Officiel. Often misunderstood, the legislative mechanism perplexes citizens, who don't always understand how they can influence or advance the laws that govern their lives. What are the real powers of those who govern, and how do the elected representatives appointed by the French carry forward their choices and voices?

To help you understand the progress of a bill, I've created an infographic in carousel format, specifically for social networks (Linkedin and Instagram), that's quick and easy to navigate in just a few slides.
J'ai structuré le contenu en 4 grandes étapes :
1 - l'initiative : qui peut proposer une loi ?
2 - le parcours au sein des 2 chambres du parlement et les éventuels allers-retours
3 - que se passe-t-il si aucun accord n'est trouvé au parlement ?
4 - l'entrée en vigueur de la loi : la dernière étape 🔻
I've structured the content into 4 main stages:

Graphiquement, j'ai souhaité un design assez simple avec des aplats de couleurs pour distinguer chaque étape et un parcours fléché pour une meilleure lisibilité.
En contrepartie de ce design épuré, j'ai choisi de travailler les dessins représentant les institutions (Elysée, Sénat, Conseil Constitutionnel...). Un style à mi-chemin entre le dessin traditionnel et le sketching. Les quelques pictogrammes employés et créés pour l'occasion sont là pour rythmer le parcours.
J'ai enfin fait un effort de réduction conséquent du texte, pour ne garder que l'essentiel et permettre une lisibilité maximale. 🔻

Graphically, I opted for a fairly simple design, with solid colors to distinguish each milestone, and an arrowed route for improved legibility.
In return for this clean design, I chose to focus on the drawings representing the institutions (Elysée Palace, Senate, Constitutional Council...). A style halfway between traditional drawing and sketching. The few pictograms used (created for the occasion) are there to punctuate the path.
Finally, I've made a considerable effort to reduce the text, keeping only the essentials for maximum legibility.
